Expectations

Acrylic and Paper on Canvas

This painting is inspired by Stanislaw Lem’s otherworldly science fiction novel Solaris from the 60’s. It’s a poignant look at the nature of communication and the human experience. My favorite quote?

“I had no hope, yet expectations lived on in me…I had no idea as I abided in the unshaken belief that the time of cruel wonders was not over.”
